چکیده
An experiment was conducted to know the effect of biogenic nanoparticle seed treatment in pigeon pea under pot culture during 2021-22 at NSP, GKVK, Bangalore. Seeds were sown pots after imposing with eight treatments various concentrations including control viz., green zinc oxide (1000 ppm & 1250 ppm), silicon dioxide (500 750 ppm) also chemical oxide, and Spinosad (2 ppm). Among different nanoparticles studied, @ recorded maximum plant height (153.48 cm), number nodules per (99.75), pod length (7.92 seeds (5.15), pods (115.09), yield (53.73 g), resultant obtained from shown highest 100 weight (14.71g), germination (94.00%), mean seedling (43.02 dry (51.02 mg/seedling), vigor index-I (4043), index-II (4795), total dehydrogenase activity (2.013 A480nm) lowest electrical conductivity (20.44 µS/cm/g). These findings suggest that is better for obtaining good quality parameters pea.

Organic Seed Treatment with Seaweed Nano Powders on Physiological Quality and Enzyme Activities in Aged Seeds of Pigeon Pea
Pigeon pea (Cajanus cajan (L.) Mills.) is one of the major grain legume crops grown in the tropics and sub-tropics and accounts for about 5% of world legume production. It is the fifth prominent pulse crop in the world and second most important pulse crop after chickpea in India. India is ranking first having about 90% of the world area and 85% of production. Organic farming in recent years gai...
متن کاملEffects of hormonal priming on seed germination of pigeon pea under cadmium stress.
In this work we investigated whether priming with auxin, cytokinin, gibberellin, abscisic acid and ethylene, alters the physiological responses of seeds of pigeon pea germinated under water and cadmium stress. Seeds treated with water or non-treated seeds were used as control. Although compared to non-treated seeds we found that the hormone treatments improve the germination of pigeon pea under...

Four West African Dwarf (WAD) grower bucks averaging 6 kg in weight and aged between 5-6 months of age were used in a digestive trial to determine the intake and digestibility of raw or processed pigeon pea seed meal based diets. The diets designated RPBD, SPBD, TPBD and BPBD were formulated from cassava peel, palm kernel cake, brewers dry grain, bone meal and common salt to contain 15% of raw,...
متن کاملChromium Toxicity on Seed Germination, Root Elongation and Coleoptile Growth of Pigeon Pea (cajanus Cajan)
A lab experiment was conducted to evaluate the effect of chromium (Cr) on seed germination, root elongation and coleoptile growth in pigeon pea (Cajanus cajan). The seed of the pigeon pea was treated with five concentrations of Cr (0, 20, 40, 80 and 100 ppm). The results indicated that the per cent germination of test crop was decreased after application of 20 ppm Cr concentration. The effect o...

A study was carried out to evaluate nutrient intake and digestibility by West African Dwarf (WAD) sheep fed graded levels of dietary pigeon pea seed meal (PSM). Four diets designated A, B, C and D were formulated to contain 0, 10, 20, and 30% levels of PSM, respectively. Four WAD rams aged between 15 and 17 months and weighing between 16 and 19 kg were used to conduct digestibility study in a 4...
